Fun Easter Basket Ideas That Avoid the Sugar Rush

Are you looking for some fun ideas for Easter baskets that don’t contribute to the sugar rush and aren’t those cheap plastic toys that will be broken or forgotten by tomorrow? I prefer to keep sweets in moderation and give gifts that will be truly enjoyed. That’s why I’ve put together a list of different ideas for Easter baskets. These cover both boys and girls, and at various ages and stages. What kid is too old for an Easter basket? Not one I’ve met! That’s why this list includes ideas for babies through teens. The ideas are in categories, so those can be adapted to different ages. They are mostly small and inexpensive items that should easily fit into an Easter basket. Hopefully this should give you some ideas that will excite the little ones and not-so-little ones in your life.

These are all great ideas! I think we’re in the “personal care” category this year for a basket 🙂

That’s a fun category! We’re doing some of that too.

Thank you for sharing so many great ideas that don’t include candy.

Glad to do it. Researching this article benefitted me as much as anyone. I think candy is great, but it’s gone too far.
